Flush Self-Cleaning

Flush Self-Cleaning

The flush self cleaning system provides for a short burst of water to clear the Suparator device surface of collected sediment and ensure that Suparator works optimally at all times. The Suparator device concentrates oil through a mechanical separation driven by flow. Increased solids can disturb the flow pattern in the tank and reduce functionality. In addition, oil tends to adhere to particulates causing rag layers and unpleasant odors.

The diagram below shows how the short burst of water removes the collected sediment and restores the flow pattern in the Suparator device.
